In addition, the CM of Uttar Pradesh has stated that helicopter flights between Lucknow and Naimisharanya would soon be introduced. The helicopter service would be designed to make it simple to travel between the cities, as Naimisharanya is a pilgrimage hub in the Sitapur District.

“A helicopter service between Lucknow and Naimisharanya would be offered in the first phase. Additionally, some of the buses that were launched today will be run to the pilgrim center via a different arrangement,” the official stated.

The Chief Minister stated that the urban development department, along with the tourism and culture departments, is trying to preserve Naimisharanya’s history and is preparing to begin operating electric buses from Lucknow.

“Since there would need to be the construction of amenities like charging stations, it might take some time. We are considering a different arrangement till then,” he stated. A temple devoted to Lord Vishnu is called Naimisharanya, also known as Naimisaranyam, Neemsar, and Nimkhar.

Speaking about the construction projects carried out by his administration, Adityanath claimed that 10 of the 100 cities being built under the Smart Cities Mission were found in Uttar Pradesh and that two of the top 10 cities in the nation—Agra and Varanasi—were also found there. The Chief Minister added that in the previous five years, his administration had improved the way Metro rail services were operated. He claimed that the Metro’s foundation will be an electric bus service. He continued, “This will aid in the expansion of the Metro service and offer public transportation that is free of pollutants.”
