The Uttar Pradesh New and Renewable Energy Development Agency (UPNEDA) has awarded the 1.8 MW off-grid solar project (Second Solar Project) to Servotech Power Systems, an Indian developer of solar, LED, medical-grade, and electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions. This 1.8 MW of off-grid solar project’s overall contract value is about Rs 30 crore. After acquiring a 4.1 MW grid-interactive rooftop solar power plant project from UPNEDA earlier this month, Servotech has now acquired a second significant project from UPNEDA.

As part of the project, Servotech will handle crucial duties like empanelling and rate contracts for designing, manufacturing, supplying, erecting, testing, and commissioning off-grid solar systems across Uttar Pradesh.

According to an official statemeny by Servotech, “Solar and EV charging solutions Servotech Power Systems Ltd has been awarded a Letter of Intent (LoI) by Uttar Pradesh New & Renewable Energy Development Agency (UPNEDA) for a significant 1.8 MW off-grid solar project, installing solar-powered modules of various capacities throughout the state.”

In addition, Servotech will provide thorough warranty maintenance for the following five years, taking care of various 1-10 kW and 11-50 kW off-grid solar PV installations at different locations throughout the state.

According to Raman Bhatia, Founder and Managing director of Servotech Power Systems, “This alliance will emphasize the diversity of our work and focused project implementation to encourage green energy generation and proliferation across industries. Off-grid solar projects are revolutionizing the renewable energy industry. They represent the first and most important step toward achieving grid independence, which will eventually allow us to achieve zero emissions.

Earlier this month (September), the Uttar Pradesh New & Renewable Energy Development Agency (UPNEDA) awarded a sizable, state-spanning grid-interactive rooftop solar power plant project to Servotech Power Systems. The project entailed the construction of a 4.1 MW solar project all around the state. Servotech Power will complete the project within four months of the day it was awarded, and the estimated total contract value of this 4.1 MW solar project is 23.50 crores.
