KPI Green Energy Bags 145.20 MW Wind-Solar Project from Ayana Renewable Power KPI Green Energy Joins Hands with Uttarakhand Govt for 500 MW Solar Park

Independent Power Producer (IPP) KPI Green Energy Limited has been awarded a Letter of Intent (LOI) for a 145.20 MW wind-solar hybrid power project (comprising 145.20 MW wind and 50 MW solar) by  Ayana Renewable Power Four Private Limited, based in Bangalore. The project is scheduled to be completed in the financial year 2024-25.

The project will be located in the state of Gujarat and falls under the Company’s ‘Captive Power Producer (CPP)’ business segment. Additionally, the firm will be responsible for providing a range of services, including Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning (EPCC). This entails tasks such as land acquisition, design, manufacturing, supply, construction, erection, testing, and commissioning for the balance of plant, as well as the facilitating power evacuation facilities and securing the necessary approvals and permits for the project.

KPI Green Energy has set itself the ambitious goal of reaching 1000 MW by the year 2025.

KPI Green Energy has been on an order winning spree for hybrid projects. Earlier, the firm announced that it had commissioned a hybrid power project at Surat. The firm successfully commissioned a 7.80 MW wind-solar hybrid power project. Of this, the wind capacity is at 4.2 MW while the rest 3.60 MWdc is for solar provided by its wholly owned subsidiary, KPIG Energia Private Limited.
