Ather Energy Drives Into Bihar With Experience Centre In Patna

Bengaluru-headquartered electric scooter manufacturer, Ather Energy has opened its first experience center, Ather Space, in Rukanpura, Patna, and has begun selling its products in Bihar. Ather Space, which was established in partnership with Alankar Energy, would provide test rides and purchases of the recently released Gen 3 versions of its flagship scooters, the Ather 450X, and 450 Plus.

Customers may learn about every part of the vehicle and see the technical and mechanical work that goes into each Ather scooter at Ather Area, the Experience Centre. In addition to complete service and support, Patna’s customers can reserve test ride times on the business’ website.

The number of active Ather scooters on public roads increased by 202% year over year (April to October) in 2022. With 8213 units delivered, October marked the company’s best monthly sales performance. The company will raise its capacity to 400,000 units annually with the opening of the second manufacturing plant in Hosur to meet the growing demand. Ather currently has 69 Experience Centers in 56 Indian cities.

There are presently 2 Ather Grids at the Experience Center, and Ather plans to install 8–10 more in the upcoming months to help people who are worried about range anxiety and make the switch to EVs less stressful. The company has more than 600 fast-charging grids spread out over the nation, and by the end of FY23, it expects to install 1400 Ather Grids. Customers are assisted by Ather Energy with the installation of home charging systems in their apartments and buildings.

The Ather 450X Gen 3 and Ather 450 Plus Gen 3 have ex-showroom prices of Rs. 1,56,760 and Rs. 1,35,250, respectively, following the Fame II modification. Earlier, Ather Energy opened a second manufacturing plant in Hosur, Tamil Nadu. To better meet the rising demand for its flagship scooters, the Ather 450X and 450 Plus, the brand increased its production capacity to 420,000 units annually with the aid of the 300,000-square-foot facility.
