MOIL commissions a 48KW capacity grid-connected rooftop solar system: Report

Manganese Ore India Limited (MOIL) has commissioned a 48KW capacity grid-connected rooftop solar system with net-metering claims TOI.

The installed rooftop solar system is expected to bring in a saving of Rs10 lakh annually for the public sector enterprise

The project developed in line with government's policy to promote non-conventional energy is estimated to generation 71,000 kWh solar power. With the installation of rooftop solar power plant, MOIL will reduce dependency on fossil fuels and cut carbon emission.
