Solar inverter company Growatt unveiled a 735 kW solar project in India. This project forms a part in the renewable energy blueprint of Supreme Industries, India’s largest plastic production and processing company.

Commissioned in collaboration with the installer Kalpa Power and powered by Growatt’s MAX and MAC series inverters, this project ensures peak performance, safety, and substantial cost efficiency, the firm said.

“It also guarantees a steady power supply for manufacturing operations and maximizes revenue through the Net Metering policy. Supreme insisted. In today’s fast-paced and demanding industrial landscape, industries and companies are constantly seeking out reliable and sustainable energy solutions to power their operations. We have chosen Growatt’s solar inverters to ensure efficient, reliable, and sustainable power supply”. Using 5 MAX 125KTL3-X LV, 1 MAC 60KTL3-X LV and 1 MAC 50KTL3-X LV, the rooftop plant has an annual capacity generation of 13,03,260 kWh. The ginormous plant not only saves 1,005 tonnes of CO2 per annum which is equivalent to planting 19,456 trees but also is a beacon of sustainability and a brighter future,” the firm said in a statement.

Growatt said that MAX 100-125KTL3-X LV is compatible with high power and bi-facial modules with maximum DC input current reaching 32A for each MPPT. It also has multiple MPPT to reduce the energy loss caused by shadow effect and module mismatch. With a strong focus on R&D, the company has continued to innovate and provide cutting-edge solar inverters that are trusted worldwide.

Recently, Growatt launched a new generation of MAX 100-125KTL3-X2 LV series. This upgraded model features 8 MPPTs with an increased input current capacity of 45A per MPPT i.e. 22.5A per string. As a result, it becomes easier to integrate higher watt-peak panels and bi-facial panels into solar systems. This inverter series enables a DC/AC ratio of up to 200%, contributing to a lower Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE) for PV plants.
