Float by eBikeGo Reimagines EV in Hospitality

Noida-based eBikeGo electric two-wheeler mobility platform will soon introduce a new business model called “Float by eBikeGo”. This is an initiative to provide EV two-wheelers for visitors at various hotels and resorts in tourist areas.

The tourism industry has recovered and experienced tremendous development following the simultaneous lockdown caused by the COVID 19 pandemic in the past year. However, it has frequently been noted that flexible transportation within and around the destination still presents a significant challenge for tourists because rental cars are sometimes unavailable in isolated areas, expensive, and not always clean and hygienic.

Presently, the only a few brands only a few brands offer their vehicles for commuting. In order to fill this gap, eBikeGo will provide self-driven two-wheelers as part of the package across five metros, namely Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, and Hyderabad to begin with. The firm will work with prominent brands in hotels and resorts for this project and will have reached 30 more cities by the end of next year.

“People who are visiting a certain city will find it very convenient to get around the city because they have access to both private automobiles and ecosystems. There will be a bundle that provides you with a personal automobile, a navigation app (for locations to visit), and discount vouchers (restaurants, bakeries, spas, shopping, etc.). When you check in at a hotel or resort, you can get the keys to your 2-wheeler and drive around the entire city without having to worry about gasoline or anything else.” remarked Dr. Irfan Khan, Founder, and CEO of eBikeGo.

Direct reservations for these smart vehicles will be made possible using a QR scan. eBikeGo will start providing this service to customers in January 2023. Additionally, it will be formally introduced on December 2 and 3, 2022, at the Bombay Convention & Exhibition Centre in Mumbai, during the tradeshow FRO Expo 2022, which is being organised by Franchise India.

Earlier, Mumbai-based OEM service provider and also a wholly owned subsidiary of eBikeGo company, Vajram Electric raised $1.5 mn in a seed funding round that was led by High Networth Individuals, such as Nikul Gala and family and included other well-known HNIs, including Anil Basa, Cyprian D’mello, and others.
