Ruchira Green to Setup Rs 200 Cr Li-Ion Battery Plant

A leading manufacturer of lithium batteries and allied products, Ruchira Green Earth has announced that it is looking to double its manufacturing capacity of Lithium-ion batteries by setting up a Li-ion batteries plant worth Rs 200 Crores. This will support the Aatmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan and increase the domestic EV manufacturing opportunities in the country.

As per the company’s claims, it has already started commercial production in Yamuna Nagar, Haryana. It’s further intensifying its manufacturing capacity and transforming it with an aim to fulfill the rising demand for its exclusive product line.

Speaking of their achievements the Director at Ruchira Green Earth, Deepan Garg said, “We are delighted to have been awarded a contract from many OEM’S for the supply of lithium-ion batteries. We are looking to achieve commendable growth with a focus on market capitalization and the ongoing EV revolution has given wings to our expansion drive.” Moving ahead with a ceaseless commitment towards accelerating the transition to electric vehicles, we look forward to winning many more such contracts with major OEMs in the EV segment.”

Ruchira Green produces a wide range of EV batteries under its flagship brand AKIRA. The company has been awarded contracts worth crores from OEM such as Gemopai, Tunwal, Mantra, Bending, Komaki & many more for the supply of lithium-ion batteries for its electric two wheelers-EV scooters.
