Commenting on the deal, Sky Wang, CEO of ReneSola Yixing Co. Ltd, a company in Jiangsu Province, said that “Australian solar market is actually growing impressively. We have already supplied a cumulative capacity of more than 300 MW to various scale SPV projects in Australia.”

On the importance of using ReneSola modules, Wang added “our higher wattage modules will bring down the overall project cost and will add value to the SPV market. We believe that together with ProSun, we will have a good market share in the Australian market.”

Till date, Chinese solar photovoltaic (PV) module manufacturer, ReneSola, had supplied over 20 GW of cumulative solar PV module capacity globally, whereas Prosun Solar is having an experience of over 10 years in the distribution of solar equipment since more than 10 years in Australia.

“This is a long term partnership between the two companies based on shared mutual business interests and common social goal to promote the green energy products in the region. We will work closely with ProSun Solar to facilitate this market with local inventory and prompt delivery of our high efficiency and high wattage modules so that more and more companies those are involved in the distributed generations get benefitted,” commented Krishan Sharma, VP-Asia Pacific for ReneSola Yixing Co. Ltd.

Speaking on the partnership, Tahir, Managing Director and Founder of Prosun Solar, said “Renesola is a Global Brand and we are very proud to represent such fine Quality Products! ProSun has always had a Policy of Quality and Renesola certainly will add to the Excellence we demand as a company. Our reputation in Australia is not just in adding large numbers to our distribution chain but to market products that eventually become the household names.”

He further commented “I have always been an admirer of Renesola and looking forward to marketing their products in our continent. ProSun’s Australian reach will see ReneSola reach the heights it deserves in our part of the World!”

In March this year, ReneSola had crossed 20 GW shipment milestone, which demonstrated the firms’ capabilities, scale and sustainable efforts in support of worldwide decarbonisation.
