ReneSola 20 GW Modules Shipment

ReneSola, a leading global brand of Solar PV Modules, has officially announced that it has crossed the 20 GW shipment milestone, which demonstrates the firms’ capabilities, scale and sustainable efforts in support of worldwide decarbonisation.

The last shipment of the 20 GW has been supplied to a solar PV project in southern Brazil in December 2019.

Driven by the global vision and commitment to fight with the global energy crisis, the module manufacturer has claimed that it has been strengthening its international footprints and demonstrated the great performance in small as well as in large scale solar markets in various regions like the People’s Republic of China, the United States, The United Kingdom, Europe, India, etc.

“The credit for our success goes to our wonderful customers first then to our inter-departmental teams working across the globe for making ReneSola the best Solar PV company. We are committed to strengthen our international cooperation and offer the best quality products and solutions so that more and more communities can be powered by clean energy in the future. We have strong financing partners and have every plan to launch new products and services in the near future. Also, we are planning to expand our manufacturing capacity from 3.65 GW to 5 GW annually by the end of 2020” said Sky Wang, CEO ReneSola Yixing.

In January we had reported that the firm had updated its financial guidance for the fourth quarter (Q4) and fiscal year 2019 to reflect the delay in recognising revenue from the sale of a solar project in Canada. The Company now anticipates completing this project sale and recognising revenue in the first quarter of 2020. Based on preliminary unaudited results, the Company expects revenue for the fourth quarter of 2019 to be in the range of USD 20 million to USD 25 million, half of its previous guidance of USD 45 million to USD 50 million.
