Havells India forays into solar business

Havells India on Monday in a filing with the BSE informed that the Company is launching solar solutions including Solar power generating systems, Home lighting kits, Solar Pumps, Solar street lights etc.

The company will start rolling out the solar products pan India in phases, starting from month itself. However, Havells did not reveal exact time frame.

The products will be assembled/ manufactured in Neemrana, Rajasthan. Havells in a statement said will cater its solar product only to the domestic market.
