These new battery packs will be commercially available starting July 2025, pan-India. The electric vehicle battery manufacturer, with this new introduction, looks to clock the revenue of INR 250+ cr. The company aims to target electric vehicle (EV) Manufacturers, Fleet Operators & Logistics Companies, Battery Dealers & Distributors, E-mobility & Energy Tech Startups, and Government & Institutional Buyers. Within the battery engineering segment, Neuron’s Gen 2 battery packs bring technology that serves varied road conditions across India. Pratik Kamdar, Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Neuron Energy, stated, “The Gen 2 battery launch is a pivotal step in our journey to build more reliable and intelligent power solutions, provide greater cost efficiency and enhanced performance for India’s growing EV ecosystem. These battery packs represent not just technological progress, but a deeper commitment to safety, sustainability, and performance for EV users across the spectrum.” Key Highlights Of Gen 2 Battery Packs The new battery pack is designed to enhance compatibility across various vehicle models and improve heat dissipation, targeting the demanding conditions of Indian roads. It provides vibration protection, engineered to withstand high-impact terrains and deliver improved stability. Neuron added that the battery’s smart Battery Management System (BMS) and cell balancing extend battery life, help to reduce maintenance, and support consistent performance over time.
