Tripura Tenders for Solarisation of 1300 Pumps Under KUSUM

TREDA has issued a tender for the solarisation of 1300 grid-connected 2 HP agriculture pumps in Tripura on a turn-key basis under the PM-KUSUM programme.

The Tripura Renewable Energy Development Agency (TREDA) has issued a tender for the solarisation of 1300 grid-connected 2 HP agriculture pumps in Tripura on a turn-key basis under the PM-KUSUM programme.

The scope of work for the selected bidders will include the design, manufacture, supply, erection, testing, commissioning for the solarisation of the agricultural pumps in Tripura. The project developers will have a period of 240 days from the date of issue of Letter for Award (LoA) to complete the work on the installation of the project.

The developers will also be required to provide a mandatory Annual Maintenance Contract for a period of five years including insurance coverage for the installed systems.

The last date for bid submission is February 10, 2019, and the techno-commercial bids will be opened on February 11, 2019. A pre-bid meeting has been scheduled for January 27, 2019, to address the concerns raised by the prospective bidders. All bidders must submit an Earnest Money Deposit of Rs 48.1 lakh along with their bids.

To be eligible for participating in the bidding process the bidders should have been manufacturing either SPV Module or SPV Pumps or Pump Controller or Power Conditioning Unit (PCU) of SPV Pumps for at least 3 audited years. Furthermore, the bidder should have a cumulative experience of executing > = 650 kWp installed capacity Solar Pumps and/or off-grid and/or grid-connected and/or Hybrid SPV Power Projects in India.

Financially, the Minimum Average Annual Turnover (MAAT) of the bidder in the last three financial years should be Rs 10 crore.

These pumps were allocated by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) under Component-C of the KUSUM (Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthan Mahaabhiyan) program, which aims at the solarisation of grid-connected agricultural pumps.

Recently, the Indian Telephone Industries Limited (ITI), a public sector undertaking, invited an expression of interest to empanel business associates for the off-grid solar water pumping program under KUSUM.
