NTPC REL Issues Tender for Substation Pkg for 630 MW Solar Park

NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (NTPC REL) has issued a tender inviting online bids from eligible bidders on single stage two envelope (envelope-I: techno-commercial bid and envelope-II: price bid) basis for substation package under development of 630 MW Barethi Solar Park.

Brief Scope of Work
1. Design, engineering, supply, erection, testing and commissioning of-
a. 400 kV AIS park pooling Station (05 AIS Bays) with 02 315MVA, 400/33-33kV type tested tie transformers and associated SAS and protection.
b. Two 33 kV pooling switchgear of 315 MVA (+10%) capacity.
2. Installation of common power plant controller and grid compliance study for solar plants
associated with above park pooling substation.
3. Installation of ±50MVAR dynamic reactive compensation equipment’s integrated with 33
kV switchgear.
4. Supply and installation of various monitoring equipment associated with tie transformer.
5. Supply of mandatory spare

The last date for receipt of bids comprising both techno-commercial bid and price bid is December 6, 2023. The date of opening of techno-commercial bid is December 6, 2023.

All bids must be accompanied by bid security of INR 2 crore.

To qualify technically, the bidder should have designed, supplied, constructed/erected, tested and
commissioned one (1) air insulated switchyard of 400 kV or above voltage class having at least four bays in last ten years which should have been in successful operation for a minimum period of two years from techno-commercial bid opening date.

The average annual turnover of the bidder should not be less than INR 65 crore or in equivalent foreign currency, for any three financial years out of the preceding five financial years as on the date of techno-commercial bid opening.
