Jakson to install rooftop solar power plant at Rashtrapati Bhawan

Jakson Group today said it has secured a contract to install a rooftop solar plant of 508 kWp capacity at the Rashtrapati Bhawan.

The company will be involved in designing, installation, commissioning and maintenance of the plant, Jakson Group said in a statement, adding that the project is expected to be commissioned by this year end.

The project will generate approximately 7.41 lakh units per year, it added.

Jakson is among top two players in India Solar Rooftop market and has a portfolio of 30 MW Rooftop project so far, Jakson Group VC and MD Sundeep Gupta said in the statement.
