IREL has issued a tender, inviting bids from eligible developers for setting up of 100 kW rooftop solar power system in Odisha.

Indian Rare Earths Limited (IREL) has issued a tender, inviting bids from eligible developers for setting up of 100 kW rooftop solar power system in Odisha.

The last date for bid submission is May 20, 2020, and the techno-commercial bids will be opened on the same date. The date and time of opening of the price bids will be informed to the technically cleared bidders separately. The estimated cost of the project is Rs 52 lakh and all bidders must submit an Earnest Money Deposit of Rs 52 thousand along with their bids.

To be eligible for participating in the bidding process,

  • The bidder must have successfully commissioned projects/ systems at least one project in a single contract in the last 7 years as on date of opening of the bid having an installation of at least 80 kWp capacity and must be in satisfactory operation for at least one year as on date of opening of the bid,

Or

  • The bidder must have successfully commissioned projects/systems at least two projects in the last 7 years as on date of opening of the bid having an installation of at least 50 kWp capacity and must be in satisfactory operation for at least one year as on date of opening of the bid,

Or

  • The bidder must have successfully commissioned projects/systems at least three projects in the last 7 years as on date of opening of the bid having an installation of at least 40 kWp capacity and must be in satisfactory operation for at least one (1) year as on date of opening of the bid.

Financially, the bidders must have a Minimum Average Annual Turnover of Rs 16.5 lakh during the last three completed financial years (2018-19,2017-18,2016-17). Furthermore, the bidder should have been in the business of supply of solar power generation panels in the last 5 years from the date of tender and must be in possession of the valid test certificates of solar PV module and Power Conditioning Unit/Inverter from MNRE authorised test laboratory.
