Tender Issued for 283 kW Rooftop Solar Plants in Rural Maharashtra Hospitals PC: Solar Maxx

MEDA has tendered for rooftop solar plants at 2 sub-district hospitals and rooftop systems with battery back up at 10 rural hospitals in Maharashtra

The Maharashtra Energy Development Agency (MEDA) has issued a tender for the commissioning of grid-connected rooftop solar PV power plants under net metering at two sub-district hospitals and rooftop solar systems with full load battery back up at 10 rural hospitals in Maharashtra.

The total rooftop capacity tender is 283 kW, which has been divided between the 12 locations, as shown below in the  table:

The scope of work for the elected developers will include the design, fabrication, installation, testing and commissioning of the grid-connected rooftop solar systems with net metering of total 90 kW at the two Sub-District Hospitals and rooftop systems with full load battery back up of 4 hrs (Hybrid) under net metering of total 193 kW capacity at the 10 Rural Hospital & Arogya Prashikshan Pathak Kendra, Saoner. The selected developers will have a period of 120 days from the date of issue of the work order to complete the work on the installation of the project.

The developers will also be required to provide with automatic cleaning system of PV panel for each site in Nagpur District with a Comprehensive Maintenance Contract for 5 years on a Turnkey Contract Basis.

To be eligible for participating in the bidding process, the bidder should have installed and commissioned 500 kW capacity (single or cumulative) grid-connected rooftop net metering systems and 50 kW (single or cumulative) grid-connected system with hybrid inverter/off-grid. And, should have a cumulative turnover of minimum Rs 5 crore during the last three years.

The last date for bid submission is May 11, 2020, and the techno-commercial bids will be opened on May 12, 2020. The estimated cost of the project is Rs 3.03 crore and all bidders must submit an earnest money deposit of Rs 3.03 lakh along with their bids.
