BHEL Tenders for Module Cleaning System for 50 MW Solar Plant

BHEL tenders for the supply and commissioning of a module cleaning system for a 50 MW solar PV power plant for MAHAGENCO in Maharashtra.

BHEL Solar Module Cleaning System

Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has issued a tender for the supply and commissioning of a module cleaning system for a 50 MW solar PV power plant for MAHAGENCO at Koudgaon, Osmanabad in Maharashtra.

The scope of work for the selected vendor will include the design of an effective module cleaning system for a 50 MW solar power plant and the supply of all the module cleaning system parts as per the approved BOM. The vendors will also be required to install and commission the cleaning system. The successful bidders will have a period of 56 days from the award of the contract to complete the work on the project.

The cleaning of the modules using the new system and the supply of water will be managed by BHEL.

The last date for bid submission is December 23, 2019, and the techno-commercial bids will be opened on the same date. The date and time of opening of the price bids will be informed to the technically accepted bidders later.

To be eligible for participating in the bidding process, the bidders should have experience of having successfully completed similar works during the last 5 years from the date of tender opening. Similar works mean bidders should have carried out supply, installation and Testing of PV-Module cleaning systems or systems involving Water washing or cleaning systems.

And the bidders must have completed the purchase orders of two similar works each costing not less Rs 45 lakhs or one completed Purchase order of similar works not less than Rs 70 lakhs during the last 3 years from the date of opening of tender.

In October, the firm had invited bids from eligible bidders for the supply of Balance of System (BOS) items and the installation and commissioning of the 50 MW grid-connected solar power plant in Kaudgaon.

More recently, BHEL had issued a tender for carrying out the operation and maintenance (O&M) work for a 50 MW solar power plant at NTPC Mandsaur in Madhya Pradesh.
