Delhi-based electric vehicle manufacturer, Saera Electric Auto Private Limited (SEAPL) anticipates a 2X increase in revenue by the end of FY ’22–23. In the first two-thirds of the current financial year, SEAPL has already surpassed the 182 Cr threshold, up from 152 Cr in the previous financial year. By March 2023, Saera Electric will have a 100% increase in yearly revenue, or Rs 320 Cr, if this pace of growth continues.

The International Center for Automobile Technology’s ICAT granted the International Center for Automobile Technology’s first vehicle certification certificate to SEAPL, which was the first business to introduce an e-rickshaw in India under the brand Mayuri. With the name Yogo Bikes, SEAPL also produces well-liked low-speed electric scooters. The cutting-edge technologies used in the industry are used in the design and construction of each electric vehicle produced by SEAPL.

By acquiring the Harley Davidson Plant in Bawal (Haryana), SEAPL was able to increase production capacity and meet India’s growing demand for effective electric automobiles. A total of 36,000 electric three-wheelers and 2 lakh two-wheelers can be produced annually at the Bawal factory.

Additionally, SEAPL’s new plant in Kosi, Uttar Pradesh, has begun producing vehicles and will shortly reach its full operational capacity of 24,000 units annually. With three plants, the company has increased its annual manufacturing capacity of electric two-wheelers and three-wheelers to 2,24000 and 36,000, respectively.

To assist the numerous OEM two-wheeler manufacturers around the nation, SEAPL also opened a new facility in Bhiwadi (Rajasthan) for the production of Electric two-wheeler chassis and frames.

“Electric vehicles are the primary factors driving this long-awaited rebound in the automotive industry after two years of a tumultuous market. We also waited for the ideal moment to begin SEAPL’s expansion drive and made some fruitful choices by increasing the company’s production capacity. SEAPL will produce vehicles for LML Electric’s forthcoming electric two-wheelers under the terms of a contract manufacturing agreement that we also signed with LML Electric. We anticipate that production will begin early in 2019,” Nitin Kapoor, managing director of Saera Electric Auto Private Limited.

The primary operation of Saera is assembling and manufacturing cleaner and greener electric L 3 category vehicles (e-rickshaw and e-cart loader) and electric 2W low-speed vehicles, making the company emerge as one the leading players in the industry.
