Both the companies had forged a partnership of five years to cater to the growing demand for electric two-wheelers in the country. The company is eyeing selling half a million e-scooters.

The strategic partnership laid down that Hero Electric will manufacture two of its e-bikes –Optima and NYX — at Mahindra‘s Pithampur plant.
