EVIFY Raises Rs. 80 Lakh From Angel Investors to Accelerate Its EV Operations

EVIFY, Surat-based EV logistics startup, has acquired Rs. 80 lakh in a seed round from angel investors including We Founder Circle. This investment round’s funds will primarily be used for the company’s operational expansion, team building, and technology development.

The startup has set its sights on reaching every corner of the country with green logistics end-to-end service. EVIFY is also on an expansion drive that is looking at integrating geofencing, customised BMS, telematics, client analytics, and driver and fleet management into its platform. The startup has achieved 3,00,000+ green kilometers and 50,000+ green deliveries till April 2022.

It is noteworthy that EVIFY has established several significant agreements with major top industry titans this year. This entails business alliances with Hero Electric, BigBasket, and Swiggy. EVIFY has also teamed up with Swiggy to deliver food through EVs in Surat. 

The company has inked an MOU to buy 1000 electric scooters over the next two years through its association with Hero Electric. EVIFY will distribute these EVs in various tier-two and tier-three cities. To improve the efficiency of its fleet, the company has also planned to build infrastructure for charging in the best spots in the city.

“This is a great start to the fiscal year for the company. Through this funding capital, we plan to upgrade and integrate technological advancements into our delivery operations such as geofencing, BMS, and fleet management,” Devrishi AroraFounder and CEO of EVIFY stated. 

Talking about the same, the Co-Founder and CMO of EVIFY, Pragya Mittal stated“We are focused on setting our strong foot in Surat in the coming months through this funding round and developing our SOPs for expansion in multiple cities which includes Vadodara, Ahmedabad, and Rajkot. ”

The startup claims that it aspires to transform the country’s last-mile deliveries into electric and make them environment-friendly. The platform is working towards improving the EV value chain with an emphasis on sustainability.
