Gensol Wins NTPC NVVN's 0.5 MW Solar PV Project at IIM Udaipur

Gensol Engineering Private Limited has bagged a 0.5 MW solar project tender floated by NTPC Vidyut Vyapar Nigam Ltd.

Thr project is for the development of 0.5 MW (AC) grid connected ground mounted solar PV project at IIM-Udaipur Rajasthan under net-metering.

The other bidders that participated in the competitive bidding included Rajasthan Electronics and Instruments Limited, Sukhbir Agro Energy Ltd and Uneecops Technologies Limited. It may be recalled that Delhi-based green hydrogen and solar developer firm, Uneecops Technologies Ltd had recently announced winning a project for the establishment of the first green hydrogen microgrid project in the Leh region for a hydropower firm based in India under competitive bidding.

The contract is valued at Rs. 2,57,28,778.35.

Earlier, CPSU under the Ministry of Power, Power Finance Corporation (PFC) gave a loan sanction worth Rs 633 crore to Gensol Engineering Ltd. This loan will facilitate the purchase of 5,000 passenger electric vehicles and 1,000 cargo EVs.
