WBSEDCL Issues Tender for Supply of 47 EV Charging & Battery Swapping Stations

West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (WBSEDCL) has issued a tender to select agencies for the supply, installation, operation and management of 47 electric vehicle charging and battery swapping stations.

The bidders will be responsible for establishing the stations and must commission them within six months of getting the work order.

The last day for the submission of bids is September 20, 2023. Bids open on September 20, 2023.

Bidders for one location must submit an EMD of INR 36,500. For up to five locations, it is INR 25,000 per location. Bids for over five locations and up to 25 locations will be charged INR 20,000 for every location. Bidders bidding for over 25 up to 50 locations will be charged INR 15,000 for every location. For more than fifty locations, a bidder must submit an EMD of INR 15,000 per location.

Bidders must also have an experience in automobile, e-mobility, or EV charging infrastructure sectors. They must have an annual average turnover of at least of INR 10 million in three out of last five financial years with a positive net worth.

Last year, WBSEDCL had issued a tender and invited bids for installing 205 EV charging stations and battery swapping stations to increase e-mobility in the region.
