The newly listed solar module manufacturer, Vikram Solar, while sharing the order details in a press release, said that these modules will be deployed in Khavda, Gujarat, a region where the company has already made significant contributions.

Vikram Solar further added, “As part of this order, it will supply its Hypersol G12R modules, based on N-type technology. This latest module from Vikram Solar also showcases improved bifaciality (up to 80%), better high-temperature performance, and minimal year-on-year degradation (≤0.4%). The usage of G12R Modules will enhance the Balance-of-System (BOS) efficiency and help drive down the Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE), making it more cost-effective and accessible.”

Gyanesh Chaudhary, Chairman & Managing Director, Vikram Solar, said: “The region holds immense potential for solar energy, and this project will play a pivotal role in harnessing that opportunity. Each project we deliver is a testament to the trust placed in Vikram Solar’s technology, performance, and commitment to excellence.”

Earlier in May 2025, Vikram Solar secured a 326 MW module supply order from Gujarat Industries Power Company Limited (GIPCL) for the Khavda Renewable Energy Park, and also received another 250 MW order from GIPCL at Khavda in Gujarat.

The Vikram Solar stock, since its listing two weeks ago, has struggled a little to maintain the initial spike. the firm saw a massive oversubscription vor its offer, and is currently trading close to its IPO price of 332, even as it seems well placed to capitalise on the next stage of solar growth in India.
