Khavda: GIPCL Awards 326 MW Module Order To Vikram Solar By Manish Kumar/ Updated On Mon, May 12th, 2025 Khavda: GIPCL Awards 326 MW Module Order To Vikram Solar Indian solar module manufacturer Vikram Solar has secured a 326.625 megawatt (MW) solar module supply order from Gujarat Industries Power Company Ltd (GIPCL), strengthening its role in India’s largest renewable energy project at Khavda in Gujarat. The order raises Vikram Solar’s total contribution to the MW Khavda Renewable Energy Park to around 1.3 GW. Located in the Great Rann of Kutch, the park is expected to be fully operational by December 2026. Deliveries in 2025-26 Deliveries of the high-efficiency modules are scheduled for the financial year 2025–26. Vikram Solar said the modules are engineered to perform in harsh climatic conditions, supporting India’s push for clean energy. “We are thrilled to secure this order, which reinforces the strong and enduring relationship between Vikram Solar and GIPCL,” said Gyanesh Chaudhary, Chairman and Managing Director. “The Khavda project represents more than just scale—it symbolizes a collective push toward energy security and sustainability.” The project is also expected to create employment opportunities in the region, the firm said.
