Tripura Tenders for Battery Bank for Off-grid Solar Plants in Health Establishments

TREDA has issued a tender for the establishment of battery bank for the existing solar PV off-grid power plants in Health Establishments in Tripura

The Tripura Renewable Energy Development Agency (TREDA) has issued a tender for the establishment of battery bank for the existing solar PV off-grid power plants in Health Establishments in the state of Tripura on a turn-key basis.

The scope of work for the selected bidders will include the supply, erection, testing and commissioning of a battery bank for the off-grid solar plants in the state’s health establishments. The selected developers will have a period of 120 days to complete the work on the project. The developers will also be required to provide warranty/ guarantee and Annual Maintenance Contract for 5 years from the date of commissioning.

The last date for bid submission is April 24, 2020, and the techno-commercial bids will be opened on the same date. The estimated cost of the project is Rs 4.62 crore and all bidders will have to submit an Earnest Money Deposit of Rs 11.55 lakh along with their bids.

To be eligible, the bidder should have a minimum of three years experience of successful installation of Off-grid / Hybrid solar Power plant projects. And should have a cumulative experience of executing ≥ 150 kWp off-grid and /or hybrid SPV power plants. Furthermore, the Minimum Average Annual Turnover (MAAT) of the bidder in the last three financial years should be Rs. 1.155 crore.

It is also mandated that all bidders must submit test certificates of Tubular GEL OR AGM VRLA Battery from one of the MNRE approved/IEC/NABL Accredited Test Laboratories / BIS Certificate in compliance with the specifications laid down in the tender documents.

In January, TREDA had issued a tender for the solarisation of 1300 grid-connected 2 HP agriculture pumps in Tripura on a turn-key basis under the PM-KUSUM programme. The scope of work for the selected bidders includes the design, manufacture, supply, erection, testing, commissioning for the solarisation of the agricultural pumps in Tripura.
