Tender Issued for 8 MW Ground Mounted Solar Plant at Hubballi Airport

State-owned Airports Authority of India (AAI) has floated tender inviting bids from eligible bidders for the installation of 8 MW ground-mounted, grid-connected, photovoltaic (PV) solar plant at Hubballi Airport.

The scope of work includes “designing, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of a ground-mounted, grid-connected, solar PV power plant of 8 MW capacity at Hubballi Airport, SH: Internal Electrification of SCADA Room.”

The tender fee is Rs 1,120 non-refundable and the earnest money deposited (EMD) is fixed at Rs 42,561 and payable at AAI, Hubballi.

Interested bidders can download and start submitting their bids from today i.e. May 26, 2020, while the last date and time for submitting bids is June 04, 2020, till 6:00 p.m. However, the submitted bids will be opened on June 12, 2020, at 11:00 a.m at Hubballi Airport.

Also, the tender cost of the work is an estimated Rs 21,28,074, and the period of completion of work is 3 months.

For the qualifying requirements of contractor and tenderers include:

The bidder must have satisfactorily completed 3 works, each of Rs 10,04,451, or 2 works, each of Rs 12,55,564, or 1 work of Rs 20,08,902 in the single contract of similar nature i.e. “Internal Electrification and Air Conditioning” during last 7 years ending on January 31, 2020. “The value of executed works shall be brought to current costing level by enhancing the actual value of work at a simple rate of 7 per cent p.a., calculated from the date of completion to the last date of submission of a bid.”

Besides, the bidder must have annualized average financial turnover of Rs 7,53,338 against works executed during the last 3 financial years ending March 31, 2019.

Also, the tenderer must have a minimum net worth of Rs 3,76,669 issued by certified charted accountants in attached Performa-I.
