SJVN Floats Tender for Setting Up Pilot Project for Green Hydrogen in Himachal Pradesh

Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam (SJVN) Green Energy has floated a tender for setting up a pilot project for a green hydrogen production plant of 20NM3 /HR capacity integrated with 25KW fuel cell power generation plant at 1500 MW NJHPS, Himachal Pradesh.

The last date for submitting the bid for this green hydrogen production plant tender is November 07, 2022, at 02:00 pm, and bids will be opened on the same day at 02:30 pm.

The scope of work of this SJVNGreen Energy green hydrogen production plant tender includes design, engineering, site development, manufacture, inspection at supplier’s works, supply, insurance, transport, storage, erection, testing & commissioning. The scope of work also includes the operation & maintenance (O&M) of the entire green hydrogen production plant.

Each interested bidder will also have to pay Rs. 13,56,003/- as an earnest money deposit (EMD). Bidders can also submit the EMD with Fixed Deposit Receipt made out or pledged in the name of A/C (Name of the Buyer). The bank should certify on it that the deposit can be withdrawn only on the demand or with the sanction of the pledgee. Successful Bidder can submit the Performance Security in the form of a Fixed Deposit Receipt also (besides PBG which is allowed as per GeM GTC). 

The bidders must have experience in the same kind of work with green hydrogen power projects within the previous five years. The projects must comprise transmission line construction, switchyard/substation bay, design, supply, installation, testing & commissioning, operation, and maintenance of the power plant.

The minimum annual turnover for the last three financial years, the requirement for prospective bidders to participate in the bidding process at least shall be calculated as follows:

The net worth of the bidder during the last Financial Year shall be positive, wherein the net worth shall be calculated as follows:

Net Worth = (Equity + Reserves) – (Revaluation reserves+ intangible assets + miscellaneous expenses to the extent not written off + carried forward losses)
