Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam (SJVN) Green Energy has floated a tender for the supply of a 15 MW floating solar PV power plant at Nangal Pond in Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh.

The last date for submitting the bid for this 15 MW tender is November 22, 2022, at 01:00 pm, and bids will be opened on the same day at 02:00 pm.

The scope of work of this SJVN Green Energy 15 MW tender includes design, engineering, supply, construction, erection, testing, and commissioning. The scope of work also includes operation & maintenance (O&M) of the entire 15 MW of floating solar project for three (3) years. 

Each interested bidder will have to pay Rs. 10,000 (+ 18% GST) as a cost of the bid document fee, which is non-refundable. Each interested bidder will also have to pay Rs. 1.10 crores as an earnest money deposit (EMD). 

To procure this tender, the bidder should have designed, supplied, erected, supervised the erection, and commissioned (EPC) the grid-connected solar power plant of a cumulative installed capacity of 4 MWp or higher. (Out of this capacity at least one plant must be of 2 MWp or higher capacity.) The reference plant of 2 MWp or higher capacity must be in successful operation for at least three (3) months before the date of notice inviting tender (NIT). 

The minimum average annual financial turnover of the bidder during the last three years should be not less than 30 crores in any two years during the last five financial years from consulting. The Net Worth must be positive during the immediately preceding Financial Year and should also be positive in two Financial Years out of three preceding Financial Years.

The capacity to have a cash flow amount /working capital of at least Rs 3.75 Crore as evident from the Audited Balance sheet/equivalent Financial Statements of the immediately preceding Financial Year.

Recently, Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam (SJVN) begun to commission its 75-MW Solar Power Project in the Parasan Solar Park. The solar power project is located in Tehsil Kalpi in Jalaun district which is near Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh.
