SECI has announced the rescheduling of pre-bid meetings for 3 of its latest tenders and the extension in the bid submission deadline for another
The Solar Energy Corporation of India has announced the rescheduling of pre-bid meetings for three of its latest tenders, and the extension in the bid submission deadline for another tender.
The first tender for which the pre-bid meeting has been rescheduled is the newly amended 7 GW manufacturing linked solar tender. The second pre-bid meeting for the tender had been earlier rescheduled for October 21, 2019, however, the agency has informed that due to the conduct of General Elections to the Vidhan Sabha in the state of Haryana, the meeting has been now rescheduled to October 22, 20q9.
The second tender is the RfS for selection of solar power developers for setting up of 500 MW solar PV projects in the state of Tamil Nadu. SECI has announced that another round of pre-bid meeting with prospective bidders has been organised for the tender and that the meeting will be chaired by CMD, TANGEDCO. The meeting has been scheduled for October 23, 2019.
The third tender is the NIT for the supply, installation and commissioning of solar PV home cooking systems in different states. The pre-bid meeting for the project has also been rescheduled to October 22, 2019, due to the Haryana General Assembly elections.
And lastly, the nodal agency has announced that the last date for bid submission for its tender for the implementation of a 97.5 MW grid-connected rooftop solar PV system scheme for government buildings in different states/ union territories of India under CAPEX/ RESCO model has been extended.
The last date for bid submission (both online and offline) has been extended till November 4, 2019, and the techno-commercial bids will now be opened on November 5, 2019.
Recently, SECI had extended the bid submission deadline for the tender for the second time since it was reissued in June. The nodal agency has struggled with garnering necessary bids for this project for a while now.
