NTPC Solicits Bids for O&M of 23.3 MW Solar Project in Solapur NTPC REL Issues Tender for Substation Pkg for 630 MW Solar Park

NTPC has issued tender and invited bids for the operation and maintenance (O&M) of a 23.3 MW grid-connected solar power project in Solapur. The duration of this project is twenty-four months.

The last date to submit the bids is July 20, 2023. Bids open on the same day, that is, July 20, 2023.

The said project entails three blocks with Block-1 and Block-2 have a capacity of 10 MW each. Block-3 has a capacity of 3.3 MW. As of now, Block-2, which boasts of 10 MW capacity, has been commissioned. The other two blocks are to be installed and commissioned in near future.

The EMD is  INR 0.2 crores.

The selected bidders will be required to furnish 10% of the contracted amount as a performance bank guarantee.

Eligibility 

To qualify, bidders must have experience in installing, commissioning, or operating and maintaining a grid-connected solar project of a minimum 5 MW capacity within the last seven years from the date of the techno-commercial bid opening.

Bidders must also have experience in executing supply, erection, commissioning, maintenance, and operation related to equipment like inverters and solar modules for solar power projects, which must meeting the following criteria:

  • Execution of a single order with a value of not less than INR 0.82 crores, or
  • Execution of two orders, each with a value of not less than INR 0.51 crores, or
  • Execution of three orders, each with a value of not less than INR 0.41 crores
  • Furthermore, the bidders should have an average annual turnover of at least ₹1.02 crores in the preceding three financial years.

As a financial qualification, bidders must have an average annual turnover of minimum INR 1.02 crores in the last three financial years.

Recently, NTPC Green Energy Limited expressed its intention to venture into the business of offshore wind.

Earlier, NTPC invited bids for 1.46 GW of solar projects.
