NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (NTPC REL) has issued a tender for the supply of solar modules for a cumulative capacity of 1.46 GW. These projects are located in Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and Rajasthan. NTPC REL is the renewable energy arm of state-owned Indian utility NTPC Limited.

The said 1.46 GW capacity entails the Shajapur Solar Project for 458.25 MW, Bhuj Solar Project of 375 MW and Bhadla Solar Project of 625 MW capacity.

The last date for the submission of bids is July 6, 2023. Bids open on the same day, that is, July 6, 2023.

Bids can be offered for four packages. Monofacial crystalline solar PV modules for two units of the Shajapur project in Madhya Pradesh are needed. Unit 1 has a project capacity of 148.05 MW DC under package A, and unit 2 has 310.20 MW DC capacity under package B.

Bifacial modules are required for delivery for the 625 MW Bhadla project in Rajasthan under package C. Bifacial modules are also required for the 375 MW DC for Bhuj project in Gujarat under package D.
