NTPC REL Calls Bids for Supply of WTGs for 1000 MW Wind Project

NTPC REL, the renewable energy arm of NTPC, has invited bids for the supply and installation of wind turbine generators for ISTS connected wind energy project with nominal capacity of 1000 MW in Gujarat (up to 370 WTG). NTPC REL has been proactively establishing wind projects. It recently also commissioned a 50 MW project in Gujarat and issued a tender for a wind project of 1080 MW of capacity.

The bids are invited for three blocks in the tender. Block I consists of 200 WTGs with a minimum capacity of 540 MW, Block II with 113 WTGs with a minimum capacity of 305.1 MW and Block III with 57 WTGs and minimum capacity of 153.9 MW.

The scope of work includes detailed design, engineering, manufacture, supply, erection, installation testing, commissioning of RLMM listed WTGs within the wind farm with any rating of 2.7 MW or above and limited to a maximum WTG rotor diameter of 156 meter. It also encompasses ten years of comprehensive operation and maintenance of the system supplied.

The last date of receipt of bids comprising both techno-commercial and price bids is December 4, 2023. The techno-commercial bid opens on December 4, 2023.
