NTPC Re-tenders for 100 kWp Rooftop Solar Power System

NTPC has issued its tender for setting up a 100 kWp rooftop solar PV power system at the firms’ Singrauli Super Thermal Power Plant for a second time.

NTPC Ltd has issued its tender for setting up a 100 kWp rooftop solar PV power system at the firms’ Singrauli Super Thermal Power Plant (SSTPS) in Uttar Pradesh for a second time.

In March, the CPSU had issued the tender for the installation of a 100 kWp on-grid rooftop solar power system at its SSTPS UP, for the first time. The last date for bid submission for the tender was April 27, 2020, and the techno-commercial bids were to be opened on April 29, 2020.

The scope of work for the selected bidders will include the design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of the grid-connected rooftop solar systems. The developers will also be required to provide comprehensive maintenance services for the system for a period of 5 years under a Comprehensive Annual Maintenance Contract.

The last date for bid submission is May 13, 2020, and the techno-commercial bids will be opened on May 15, 2020. All bidders will also have to submit an Earnest Money Deposit of Rs 50 thousand along with their bids.

To be eligible for participating in the bidding process, the bidders must have executed the work of design, supply, erection/ supervised erection and commissioned/ supervised commissioning of one grid-connected rooftop solar PV plant of 50 kWp capacity or more, during the last 7 years, from the date of techno-commercial bid opening and meeting the following criteria as indicated below:

Single order of value not less than Rs 33.84 Lakhs. OR

Two orders of value not less than Rs 21.15 Lakhs each. OR

Three orders of value not less than Rs 16.92 Lakhs each

Furthermore, at least one reference plant of “50 kWp or above” must have been in successful operation for at least one year from the date of bid opening.

Financially, the average annual turnover of the Bidder, in the preceding three financial years as on the date of the techno-commercial bid opening, should not be less than Rs 42.3 lakh.
