Tender Issued for Maintenance of 150 kW Rooftop Solar Plant at Pragati Maidan

ITPO has issued a tender for the annual comprehensive maintenance contract of 150 kW solar rooftop power plants at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi.

The India Trade Promotion Organisation has issued a tender, inviting bids from specialised agencies dealing in the field of installation or maintenance of solar power plants for the annual comprehensive maintenance contract of 100 kW and 50 kW (150 kW) solar rooftop power plants at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi.

The scope of work for the selected bidders will include the following:

  • Regular cleaning of solar PV modules ones in a month panels Up keeping of the electric system as per the engineer in charge
  • Restoring of the system in case of breakdown, Remote monitoring unit, Earthings, DC/AC distribution boards and nothing shall be paid extra on this account.
  • Providing SIM for monitoring and submission of energy generation of plants to ITPO officers.
  • Taking up with the OEM of equipment for warranty related concerns.
  • Arranging of PCU/PV module vendor under warrantee for any rectification works.
  • Supply of minor consumable items like MCB Fuses, wire to restore the plant repair maintenance /replacement and settings of inverter

The selected contract will sign a maintenance contract with the ITPO for a period of 5 years.

As per the tender, the contractor must see the proposed site for the work and study specifications and conditions carefully before tendering. And they will also be required to make their own arrangements for tools & plants required for the work. The department will not supply any tools and plants unless otherwise specified.

The tender documents will be opened of only those agencies who have an average annual financial turnover at least 50 percent of the estimated cost during the last 3 years ending March 31, 2019. And the successful experience of having successfully completed similar works during last 7 years ending November 30, 2019.

The last date for bid submission is January 3, 2019, and the techno-commercial bids will be opened on January 6, 2019. The estimated cost of the project is Rs 11.4 lakh and all bidders must submit an Earnest Money Deposit of Rs 22.8  thousand along with their bids.
