NTPC Limited Tender for 500 KW of PV Modules at Port Blair

NTPC Limited has invited bids for solar PV modules for their solar project at A& N Islands in Port Blair. The total capacity of the project is 500KW. The last date to submit a proposal is 06th July 2022

The interested bidder has to pay INR 2,655.00 (inclusive of GST) as a tender fee to participate in this 500KW tender. But Payment of Tender Fee shall not provide any guarantee to any bidder to be considered qualified.

SCOPE OF WORK

Bidders will have to pay an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of ₹200,000 to participate in the bidding process for various schedules. The completion period for the work has been decided to be 04 months from the Date of Award (DoA). 

NTPC Limited has the right to accept or reject any or all tenders in part or whole, including any request for tender papers to be issued, to change the quantities, or to split the order without assigning a reason.

Bids must be submitted online using the NTPC Limited (National Thermal Power Co) e-tender Portal.

For this solar project in Port Blair 500KW tender, a single-stage two-envelope bidding mechanism will be used. Bids for both technical and price must be filed online before the Bid Submission End Date.

Offline papers (such as Tender Fee, Bid Security Exemption, and any other document requested in the SPC) must be submitted/ received at NTPC Limited (National Thermal Power Co) Raipur before the Bid Submission Date expires.

Tender Fee, BID Security Exemption, and any other documents mentioned in SPC must be included in Envelope-1 (labeled as Tender Fee/ Bid Security Exemption) (Special Purchase Conditions).

Envelope-1 shall be opened first and the contents of this envelope shall be checked before the opening of the Technical.

Bid/Envelope- 2 (Marked as QR) Only bidders whose Tender Fee/ Bid Security Declaration is found valid and acceptable will have their Technical Bid/Envelope-2 (marked as QR) opened. 

If a bidder meets the QR and NIT’s terms and conditions, their price bid will be opened on the NIT-advertised day or on a date to be announced after the technical bids have been evaluated.

Technical Criteria

The bidder should have manufactured and supplied Solar Modules of cumulative capacity of 400 KWp or above, out of which at least one such supply order should be for 100 KWp or above capacity for at least six months before the date of techno-commercial bid opening.

OR,

The bidder should be a Group Company/Holding Company or subsidiary company of the module manufacturer meeting the requirements.  (supply order of minimum capacity of 50 KWp or above)

Financial Criteria

The Average Annual Turnover of the Bidder, should not be less than Rs. 124 Lakh (Rupees One Hundred and Twenty-Four lakhs only) during the preceding three completed financial years as on the date of Techno-Commercial bid opening.

Earlier in the month, NTPC(National Thermal Power Co) had invited bids for 500 MW of BoS Tender for an STU-connected solar project in Bhadla, Rajasthan.
