NTPC Issues Tender for 120 MW Ground-mounted, 56 MW Floating Solar NTPC REL Issues Tender for Substation Pkg for 630 MW Solar Park

India’s largest energy conglomerate NTPC Ltd has issued a tender inviting bids to establish a 120 MW ground-mounted and 56 MW floating solar PV project at NTPC Ramagundam superthermal power station.

The last date for the submission of bids is October 20, 2023.

Scope of Project

The scope of the project entails developing a ground-mounted as well as floating solar PV plant including a power evacuation system. This will also encompass the supply and installation of PV modules in the deputed area.

The scope of the project also encompasses three years of operation and maintenance (O&M) support for the solar PV plant.

The solar plants will be developed under the Open category and allow the employment of solar cells and modules of any origin.

Eligibility 

To qualify, a bidder must have experience in in designing, supplying, erecting and commissioning solar PV grid-connected projects with a cumulative capacity of 40 MW or higher.

Recently, NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (NTPC REL), issued a tender for the supply of solar PV modules for the 1.255 GW Khavda Solar Project in Gujarat.
