NHPC Solicits Bids for EPC of 75 MW Solar Power Project with O&M

Avaada Bags 1 GW in NHPC 3 GW Solar Tender; Jakson, Sprng Energy, Hinduja Among Other Winners

National Hydroelectric Power Corporation has issued a tender for EPC contract for the development of 75 MW capacity ISTS connected solar power project anywhere in India for sale of energy through Power Exchange along with comprehensive O and M of 05 years.

The cost of bid document is Rs.10,000. The bid security amount is Rs. 4,30,00,000. The period of bid validity is 120 days from the last date of submission of online bids.

The online bid submission closing date and time is May 19, 17:30 Hrs. The last date of offline submission is May 23, 2023 upto 17:00 Hrs.

For evaluation of financial criteria, annual reports of 5 years upto FY 2021-22 shall be considered excluding financial year 2020-21; being an exceptional year due to outbreak of Covid-19. The statement of account depicting the turnover and net worth should be certified by their statuary auditor carrying out the statutory audit by generating Unique Document Identification Number.

The MNRE (Ministry of New and Renewable Energy) recently published a full calendar for the financial year FY23-24, outlining the bidding targets for the four key central implementing agencies. These include SECI, NTPC, NHPC and SJVN. NTPC and NHPC will have 10 GW each as capacities for bids.

Earlier, NHPC issued a tender for the Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) Contract for the development of 300 MW capacity floating solar power project and associated 220 KV transmission line for connectivity at 400 KV grid substation alongwith comprehensive operation and maintenance for 05 years at Rengali Reservoir at Angul district in the state of Odisha.
