MEDA Issues Tenders For 175 kW Rooftop Solar Plants in Nagpur

The last date of bid submissions is, March 07, 2019, for the 100 kW system, and February 27, 2019, for the 40 kW system and 35 kW system.

The Maharashtra Energy Development Agency (MEDA) has issued three tenders for setting up of 175 kW of cumulative capacity rooftop solar PV power projects under rooftop net metering criteria at three locations in Nagpur.

The three rooftop systems will be developed at the 1. Prajapati Bramhakumari Ishwariya Vishwa Vidhyalaya (100 kW), 2. Seva Sadan Highschool and 3. Junior College (40 kW) and the Ganpati Devsthan Trust (35 kW).

The brief scope of work for the selected bidders will include the Design, Fabrication, Supply, Installation, Testing, Commissioning of the rooftop solar power projects on a turnkey contract basis.  The selected project developers will also be required to provide comprehensive operation and maintenance of the projects for a period of 5 years from the date of commissioning.

The last date of bid submissions is, March 07, 2019, for the 100 kW system, and February 27, 2019, for the 40 kW system and 35 kW system. Pre-bid meetings have been scheduled for February 25, 2019, for all three projects. Date of opening of technical bids for all three tenders will be on the day after the deadline for submission.

The estimated project cost for the three projects is 1. Rs 44.5 lakhs with Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of Rs 44.5 thousand, 2. Rs 17.8 lakhs with EMD of Rs 17.8 thousand, and 3. Rs 15.5 lakhs with EMD of Rs 15.5 thousand.

To be eligible, the bidder should have installed and commissioned 200 kW (Prajapati Vidyalaya) and  50 kW (Seva Sadan and Ganpati Trust) capacity (single or cumulative) Grid-connected rooftop net metering systems. And, all bidders must have a cumulative turnover of minimum Rs 50 lakhs during the last three years.

The selected bidders must complete the work on the projects between 30 and 45 days from the date of issue of the letter of award.
