NTPC Looking to Enlist Inverter Vendors For its Solar Projects

NTPC Limited has issued a Notice Inviting Applications (NIA), inviting applications from eligible bidders for vendor enlistment of inverter-inverter transformer package for development of solar power projects of NTPC.

The brief scope of work enlisted vendors will include the supply, type testing, supervision of erection/commissioning and testing of inverter, inverter transformer.

The last date for receipt of enlistment applications is March 8, 2019, and the date and time of opening of applications have also been scheduled for March 8, 2019.

To be eligible, the bidder should have designed, manufactured and supplied grid-connected solar inverter of cumulative capacity of 40 MW or above, out of which at least one such supply order for a single plant should be of 10 MW or above capacity. The reference plant in which 10 MW or above capacity solar inverters (consisting of one or more) were supplied, must have been in successful operation for at least six (6) months prior to the last date for submission of application for enlistment. Or,

The Bidder should have designed, manufactured and supplied grid connected Solar Inverter transformers of 11 kV or higher voltage class of cumulative capacity of 40 MVA or above, out of which at least one such supply order for a single plant should be of 10 MVA or above capacity. The reference plant in which solar inverter transformers of 10 MVA or above capacity (consisting of one or more) were supplied, must have been in successful operation for at least six (6) months prior to the last date for submission of application for enlistment.

And, the average annual turnover of the Bidder, should not be less than Rs 16 crore during the preceding three financial years as on the last date of submission of an application for enlistment.

NTPC Ltd. is also inviting bids from eligible bidders for the enlistment of Wind Energy Projects (WEP) anywhere in India of NTPC. And, for the enlistment of EPC Bidders for development of Solar Power Projects of NTPC. The deadline for application submission for both is February 27, 2019.
