Tata Power Renewable Energy to Build 12.5 MW Captive Solar Plant in Maharashtra

Mahatma Phule Renewable Energy and Infrastructure Technology Limited (MAHAPREIT) proposes to develop, implement, and manage a project for employment generation and entrepreneurship development among the beneficiaries registered with Mahatma Phule Backward Class Development Corporation Ltd (MPBCDC), and also provide a stable last mile delivery solution for areas across Maharashtra. MAHAPREIT will procure a delivery and implementation partner as an intermediary for implementation in the fronts of delivery management, loan distribution and loan repayment to beneficiaries of the LMP Project.

The online Request for Proposal (RFP) shall be accepted on website up till August 30, 2023. Technical bidding opens on August 30, 2023.

Scope of work

Tying-up with Electric Vehicle Manufacturers
* Tie-up with suitable 3-wheeler EV manufacturers for operations in Maharashtra, to secure timely allotment of delivery vehicles to the beneficiaries.
* Facilitation in EV procurement including technical evaluation, vehicle body specifications, modifications required, if any. Negotiate prices for bulk-purchase of EVs from the manufacturers.
* Facilitating availing of financing

The EMD to be submitted by the bidder is INR 5.00 Lakhs. The period completion of the project is five years. The cost of RFP Document is INR 10,000 + 18% GST nonrefundable. The offer of the bidder shall remain valid for 180 days from the date of opening of financial Bid. The post qualification process is applicable for this e-RFP and rates once quoted shall be negotiable.

Recently, MAHAPREIT issued a tender to obtain offers from Solar Power Developers (SPDs) for the design, engineering, manufacture, supply, erection, testing and commissioning of 50 MW AC Crystalline Solar PV technology grid interactive solar PV power plant. It will also entail five years of operation and maintenance. The plant is located in Sangli, Maharashtra.
