Mahatma Phule Renewable Energy and Infrastructure Technology Limited (MAHAPREIT) has issued a tender to obtain offers from Solar Power Developers (SPDs) for the design, engineering, manufacture, supply, erection, testing and commissioning of 50 MW AC Crystalline Solar PV technology grid interactive solar PV power plant. It will also entail five years of operation and maintenance. The plant is located in Sangli, Maharashtra.

The last date and time of submission of bid is August 21, 2023. The date of opening of techno-commercial bid is August 21, 2023. The date and time of the opening of price bid shall be intimated later.

The solar modules to be used for this project shall be sourced only from the Model and Manufactures included in the latest “Approved List of Models and Manufactures (ALMM)” issued by MNRE.

The duration of the project is 380 days from the date of issuance of Letter of Award (LoA) to the contractor.

The cost of the document is INR 10,000. The bid security deposit is INR 4.5 Lakh/MW on 50 MW(AC) capacity.

Eligibility for Bidding

The bidder should have designed, supplied, erected/ supervised erection and commissioned the EPC of Solar Photo Voltaic (SPV) based grid connected power plant(s) of cumulative installed capacity of 25 MWp or higher capacity out of which at least one plant must be of 20 MWp or higher capacity.

The reference plant of 20 MWp or higher capacity must be in successful operation for at least three (3) months prior to the date of NIT.

Earlier, MAHAPREIT invited bids to obtain offers from solar power developers for design, engineering, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of distributed solar project (2 MW to 10 MW capacity). The tender is for the solar park project in Maharashtra with a cumulative capacity of 100 MW on EPC basis.
