Delhi-based Luminous Power Technologies has  announced its new state-of-the-art solar panel manufacturing plant in the northern state of Uttarakhand. Located in the industrial region of Rudrapur, the state-of-the-art facility is equipped with the latest technology to design and produce high-quality solar panels that will be used for both residential and commercial applications. The new manufacturing plant will play a vital role in expanding the company’s solar portfolio and is expected to be fully operational by the end of this year.

Once operational, the facility, spread across 4.5 Lac sq. ft/ 10 acres will help enable a solar production capacity of 500 MW per annum, expandable up to 1 GW, producing a range of solar panels with a power output of 40W to 600W. The factory also marks the first solar panel; facility for Luminous. Increased production will also help Luminous Power Technologies strengthen its retail operations and solar offerings across India.
