Preeti Bajaj Takes On The Mantle Of MD & CEO For Luminous Power Technologies

Owned by French engineering company Schneider Electric, Luminous Power Technologies has announced the appointment of Preeti Bajaj as its Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director. She will be taking over the leadership position from Vipul Sabharwal, who is superannuating. He has been leading the organisation since 2014.

Preeti Bajaj will begin her stint at the firm starting 1 July, 2022.

A company statement said that Bajaj will be bringing “robust technology” and “transformation experience” to the table while “leading Luminous into its next growth phase as it contributes to the energy transition in India.”

The new CEO & MD’s career trajectory includes stints with the Adecco Group ANZ, a leading HR solutions partner as its CEO, Clipsal Solar as the CEO and Vice President - Strategy & Commercial Operations (Transformation) at Schneider Electric.

She completed her MBA from Swinburne University and her master’s in applied finance from Macquarie University, Australia. She is a graduate of Delhi University.
