Jinko Solar Ships 18.21 GW Of Modules in H1 2022

According to the report, the company’s performance improved significantly year over year in the first half of 2022, with operating revenue of 33.407 billion, up 112.44%; net profit attributable to shareholders of listed companies of 905 million, up 60.14%; and operating cash flow of 2.23 billion, up 481%.

Jinko Solar has released its performance report for the first half of 2022. According to the report, the company’s performance improved significantly year over year in the first half of 2022, with operating revenue of 33.407 billion, up 112.44%; net profit attributable to shareholders of listed companies of 905 million, up 60.14%; and operating cash flow of 2.23 billion, up 481%. It is important to note that JinkoSolar exported 18.92 GW of solar products worldwide in the first half of 2022, up 79% from the same period last year. This includes 18.21 GW of solar modules.

The semi-annual study reveals that the European market accounted for the biggest percentage of JinkoSolar’s global module shipment destinations in the first half of 2022, with high percentages of China, Asia Pacific, and emerging regions. JinkoSolar’s N-type Tiger Neo series modules received a lot of orders at high prices on the European market. While concentrating on the research and growth of the distribution industry in the Chinese market, Jinko Solar completed significant base projects and saw a sharp increase in shipments.

Jinko Solar also saw rapid expansion in Latin America, India, and other areas by employing a cutting-edge design and grabbing opportunities for market rotation.

According to Jinko Solar’s management, the company is very certain that it will achieve its 35–40GW module shipment objective for the year, while also steadily moving toward its 10GW N-type product shipment target.

JinkoSolar has gained a competitive edge in N-type TOPCon technology innovation and capacity scale as a pioneer in the “N-type era” of the solar industry. The N-type TOPCon cell efficiency has surpassed 24.8%, which continues to be the industry standard, and it is still conceivable to increase its efficiency and lower its cost in the following two to three years, according to the semi-annual report. At the same time, JinkoSolar demonstrated its confidence in continuing to maintain technological leadership in the sector by consistently exploring new technology in IBC, tilling ribbon, and perovskite.

For solar enterprises to compete in the future, they need to have vertical integration capabilities. Jinko Solar strategically increased its advanced capacity based on a greater capacity scale in the first half of 2022. To maintain JinkoSolar’s leadership in N-type TOPCon technology, the 16GW N-type TOPCon cell project that the company started the year with has been completed in the second quarter, the 8GW cell project that followed in Hefei has been put into operation, and the 11GW project in Jianshan is also under construction.

According to Jinko Solar’s management, the company will consolidate its industry-leading level of capacity integration, maximise the benefits of vertical integration, realise the quick embedding of technological innovation in all industry chain segments, and consistently lower the cost of integrated production in the future. Additionally, the percentage of N-type product shipments and production capacity will both continue to rise.
