IOCL Tenders for 1050 kW Solar System at Guwahati Refinery

IOCL has issued a tender for the development of a 1050 kWp solar power system at its Guwahati refinery.

The Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. (IOCL) has issued a tender, seeking bids from eligible parties for the development and maintenance of a 1050 kWp solar power system at its Guwahati refinery.

The scope of work for the selected bidders will include the site survey, design, engineering, detailed engineering including preparation of execution drawings, procurement, supply, fabrication, inspection, transportation, storage, construction, installation, testing, commissioning of the solar power plant. The developers will also be required to provide operation and maintenance services for the plant from the date of successful commissioning.

The last date for bid submission is August 26, 2019, and the technical bids will be opened on the following date i.e. August 27, 2019. A pre-bid meeting has been scheduled for August 5, 2019, to address the concerns raised by the prospective bidders.

To be eligible, the bidder should have carried out the “supply, installation, testing and commissioning of on-grid PV solar power system/plant on rooftop/landscapes” during the last five years ending on the last day of the month immediately preceding the month in which the last date of bid submission falls.

For experience, the order(s) executed by the bidder, during the last five years should be considered as under:

  1. Three orders each executed for a similar item where executed value id not less than Rs 1.54 crore.
  2. Two orders each executed for similar items where executed value is not less than Rs 2.05 crore.
  3. One order executed for a similar item where executed value if not less than Rs 2.5 crore.

And, the annual turnover of the bidders during any preceding three financial years should be at least Rs 3 crore (Rs 3,08,32,200). All bidders will also be required to submit an Earnest Money Deposit of Rs 6.8 lakh (Rs 6,86,470) along with their bids.

The selected developers will have a period of 10 months from the date of the letter of acceptance/purchase order to complete the work on the project.

In May, IOCL had issued a tender for deployment of 150 kW ground-mounted grid-connected solar PV power plant at its LPG Bottling Plant in North Guwahati, Assam.
