Indian Oil Floats Tender For 150 kW Solar Plant in Assam

The Indian Oil Corporation (IOCL) has issued tender, inviting bids from eligible bidders for the deployment of 150 kW ground-mounted grid-connected solar PV power plant at its LPG Bottling Plant in North Guwahati, Assam.

The brief scope of work for the selected bidders will include the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) of the captive solar system on a turnkey basis on the premises of North Guwahati BP. The developers will also be required to provide comprehensive Operation and Maintenance (O&M) of the plant for a period of 5 years from the date of successful commissioning of the plant.

The last date for bid submission is June 3, 2019, and the techno-commercial bids will be opened on June 4, 2019. The estimated cost of the project is Rs 76.7 lakhs, and all bidders must submit an Earnest Money Deposit of Rs 76,726 along with their bids as bid security.

The entire work should be completed in a duration of five months from the date of handing over the site which will be taken as the 10th day from the date of issue of LOI (Letter of Intent) or the actual date of handing over the site whichever is later failing which price adjustment for delay in completion shall be made.

Recently, the company issued another tender inviting bid from eligible bidders for the deployment of 205 kW rooftop grid-connected solar power PV plant at two of its sites in the state of Uttar Pradesh.

The first solar PV system will be developed at the Agra Terminal of 85 kW capacity. The second rooftop system will be deployed at the Aonla Depot in Bareilly, with a 120 kW capacity. The brief scope of work for the selected bidders will include the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services along with 1 year of complementary operation and maintenance (O&M) of the plants. Further, the developers will also be obliged to provide O&M services for an additional 4 years under an AMC.
