GSECL Invites Bids For The 20 MW Grid Connected Solar Plant

Gujarat State Electricity Corporation Limited (GSECL) has floated a tender for the supply of a 20 MW grid-connected solar power plant. This solar plant will be set up at Itiya of Bhavnagar District around the substation of GETCO, Gujarat.  

The last date for submitting the bid for this solar power project is September 03, 2022, till 4:00 pm.

This GSECL 20 MW solar tender includes the scope of work in design, engineering, supply & procurement, construction, erection, testing, Commissioning, Operation, and Maintenance also. The estimated total cost of this Gujarat State Electricity 20 MW solar tender is Rs. 80 crores. 

The interested bidder will have to pay Rs. 25000 (+ GST as applicable) as a tender fee, which is non-refundable. The awarded bidder will have to submit Rs. 80 lakh as an Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) in the form of a Bank Guarantee. 

Eligibility Criteria

The bshould have designed, supplied, erected, supervised, and commissioned Solar Photo Voltaic (SPV) based grid-connected power plant. This plant's cumulative installed capacity (in MWp)should be equal to 20% or higher of total bid capacity, out of which at least one plant should have been 5% or higher (in MWp) of total bid capacity.

The reference plant of minimum capacity as mentioned above for 5% must have been in successful operation for at least 06 months before the date of techno-commercial bid opening. 

The minimum annual turnover requirement for prospective bidders to participate in the bidding process is at least 56 Crore for the last three financial years. The net worth of the bidder should also be positive for the last Financial Year. Net Worth of the bidder shall be calculated as follows: 

Net Worth = (Equity + Reserves) – (Revaluation reserves+ intangible assets + miscellaneous expenses to the extent not written off + carried forward losses).
