Goswami Electricals & Construction Emerges Lowest Bidder for WBSEDCL 10 MW Tender

Goswami Electricals & Construction Emerges Lowest Bidder for WBSEDCL 10 MW Tender WBSEDCL Invites Bids for Supply of Spare Parts for 225 MW Pumped Storage Project

West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited had recently issued a tender for three years of operation and maintenance works of existing 10 MW solar power plant with associated equipment and materials at Charrah in Purulia. Goswami Electricals & Construction emerged as the lowest bidder that won the project for two years of O&M. The contract is worth Rs 1.17 cr.

Other bidders who participated in the bidding process included Goutam Electrical Works, Unique Electricals, Rahul Traders, Salt Lake Institute of Engineering & Management, Saurabidyut Development Pvt Ltd, Unit Electrical Works.

The project for the first year of operation and maintenance was won by Saurabidyut Development, which was the lowest bidder quoting INR 3275899. For both the second and third years of O&M of the project, Goswami Electricals & Construction won the project. For the second year, the firm was the L1 having quoted INR 3161999. For the third year, it quoted INR 3129999 as the L1 bidder.

Recently, The Public Health Engineering Department has floated a tender and invited bids for the solarization of West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (WBSEDCL) energized pumping installation at Jhargram, West Bengal.

India has been leading a drive on the solarization of water pumps. The KUSUM Program is a major initiative in this direction. In 2021, West Bengal shared its ambition of solarizing 700 grid-connected agriculture pumps up to 7.5 HP capacities.
