Gensol Engineering, a firm that delves into solar advisory and execution services, has bagged two orders for solar EPC projects in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE).

“Gensol Engineering announced its two turnkey maiden international solar engineering, procurement, and construction (Solar EPC) projects with the Dubai Government Workshop Warehouse and the Dubai Police,” the firm said in its exchange filing today.

The projects boast a cumulative capacity of 14.08 MWp and their order value is pegged at INR 101.6 crore, without taking taxes into account. “With these order wins, Gensol will gain access to a large market that is full of dynamism, vibrancy and an untapped potential for renewable energy solutions that deliver positive impacts on both Indian and UAE markets,” the firm added further in the filing. The Dubai Government Workshop Warehouse project is expected to achieve commissioning in November 2023. The Dubai Police project will go live next year in June.

In June, Ahmedabad-based O&M arm of Gensol, Param Renewable has emerged winner for the 5 MW tender floated by Indian Oil Corporation Limited. More recently, Gensol EV bagged an order from Odisha Renewable Energy Development Agency (OREDA) for 300 electric vehicles.
